Contribute your energy and expertise to our dynamic volunteer leadership team. We are particularly looking for new Board members with experience or enthusiasm for fundraising, marketing, legal expertise and finance. The board meets every 4th Monday of each month from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m at Southeast Seattle Senior Center.

Become a Committee Member

Fundraising and Finance - This committee plans fundraising events, plans the strategic fundraising plan, works with the community to develop partnerships, solicits funds, makes financial decisions and manages all the accounts.

Building committee - This committee manages the building and Thrift Shop as well as organizes all facility upgrades as needed.

Property Committee – This committee manages the maintenance of the building and the Thrift Store, and organizes all facility upgrades as needed.

Nominating committee - This committee nominates new members for the board
